At Care MK, we provide live-in carers in Milton Keynes to support adults to carry on living in their own homes. Our clients receive one-to-one care, in the comfort of their own home. Our clients can continue to eat their favourite food, prepared just for them, at the times they prefer, without them having to choose from a limited menu or fit in with a mealtime regime, such as occurs in many care homes.
Unlike in a care home, we offer one-to-one care, round-the-clock, seven days a week, for less than many Milton Keynes care homes charge. Our team of live-in carers are trained to give specialist care for a range of complex illnesses and disabilities.
What Does the Live In Care Service Include?
A live-in carer stays with the elderly person or elderly couple round-the clock in their own home. The carer sleeps in a spare bedroom and helps the elderly person with personal care (helping them with showering/washing and getting dressed), doing housework, including light cleaning and washing clothes and ironing, going shopping, preparing meals, helping clients to take their medicine, helping them to get ready for bed and attending to them in the night, if necessary.
How Much Does Live In Care Cost?
Most people prefer to stay in their own home rather than go into a care home. Our charges for one-to-one live-in care often work out cheaper than the fees charged by Milton Keynes care homes.
Our live-in care starts from £695 per week (for seven days a week) for a single person who requires companionship care. Care will cost more for a person who needs more complex care and care will also cost more for a couple than for an individual.
We cannot tell you exactly how much live-in care will cost, until we have found out what level of care is needed. That’s why we visit you and your loved one in their own home and have a chat to work out how much care they need.
